Knitting for Those in Need Spotlight Video

Knitting for Those in Need (KTN) at Kent State is a yarn crafting club that functions as a not-for-profit service organization with the intention of using multiple yarn formats to help any of those in need that they can. KTN is more than just knitting; it’s all about helping others. The club’s mission statement includes that they promote “the use of the yarn arts of loom knitting, needle knitting and crochet to create health and safety items to serve people in need. We also strive to empower people by teaching knitting skills.” This 2-minute video tells the story of the organization and why these yarn crafters do what they do. The full story that accompanies this video can be found here.
