Graphic designer, dinosaur enthusiast, and admirer of the galaxy.

 

My name is Kelsey, and this is my portfolio site. I aim to convey messages through visual representations because words aren’t always enough. I like that no matter what language you speak, you can look at a piece of art and get a feeling from it, maybe even a story if a strong connection is felt. Through visual design I feel I can scream or cry or laugh without moving a muscle or making a sound. Life is more than just words on a screen or words on a printed page. If my design style were a color, it would be purple; it has the cool feel of a blue while still capturing the passion of a red. I view it as a strong color that still has the ability to be soft when applied correctly.

 

In 2016 I received my A.A.S. in Digital Media Design from the Community College of Beaver County. Now as a student at Kent State University, I’m pursuing a B.A. in Visual Communication Design with minors in Advertising and User Experience Design. Expecting to graduate in Spring 2020, I am currently seeking internship opportunities as a graphic designer in the greater Pittsburgh area.
